Switching power supply transformer is a kind of transformer we usually use. The following is its fault repair method. I hope to help you:
(1) Discharge and sparking: Generally, the discharge spark observed in the external appearance is caused by dirt and insulation damage on the lead of the switching power supply transformer. Maintenance method: Remove the switching power supply transformer, thoroughly clean the lead, outer surface and printed circuit board of the switching power supply transformer with anhydrous alcohol and medical cotton balls. If the insulation is found to be damaged, use polyester tape to wrap the damage.
(2) Coil breaking: When the switching power supply transformer has an open circuit fault, it should first check whether the broken wire is at the pin of the transformer (prone to the fault of the wire spline welding). Use the tweezers to fiddle with each pin to find the point of failure faster.
(3) Core rupture: The core rupture can be used after the adhesive is firmly bonded.
(4) Coil short circuit: It should be checked which group of coils are short-circuited, then the coil is removed (the number of turns, position, winding pin should be recorded) and then re-wound.
